There are only two chapters left, and I have no idea how they’re gonna squeeze in a love confession and a happy ending, but I’ve got two theories:
Theory 1: Joo starts the match totally out of it, and jiomin keeps landing hits. But mid-fight, jiomin whispers something trashy about what he did to Dan. That’s when Joo loses his mind, goes berserk, and absolutely destroys jiomin —not just for the win, but for revenge. This breaks his ‘jinx’ because he won without the ‘ritual.’ But the dark part? * 60% chance for a Happy Ending: Why? Because the whole manhwa has been pure pain so far. With everything they’ve been through—the trauma, the loneliness—a sad ending would be too much. Plus, if Dan’s case was hopeless, the doctor would’ve said so. Mingwa’s endings usually aren’t tragedies. She likes to keep us guessing.
