What Matthew said is true and what Jin said is true ..Matthew’s words affected Jinn because they were true, but Jinn cannot get out of the swamp if he entered it years ago, and he does not care if he lives or dies. He hit Matthew harshly because he completely lost control of himself due to anger

Thank you this is really helpful
???
okay, to anyone who doesn’t understand because of the translation:
In the first part Matthew admits to sedating Jin for 4 days because he doesn’t want Jin to risk his life and fight against the Shinhai traitors. Although it was an act of worrying for his life and care, Jin interprets it as a way to control him since Brandon did that. Jin thought that Matthew would never “betray” him, since it’s clear Matthew cares about him more than anyone. He believes that the child he once knew was gone.. Matthew says that Jin finally came to him, and he wanted to protect him in his own way, even if it was against his will, because he knows Jin does not care much for his life and doesn’t protect himself. Matthew asks if work is more important to him than his life, saying that he is part of the mafia, and questions him about the dream pills that were distributed that he found that one chapter. Matthew basically gives him a reality check of his hypocrisy and says, “you tell me not to touch the drugs, but then you also are distributing it?” and then Matthew compares it to the orphanage situation, noting the similarities of how both Jin and the priest both are preying on the weak. Matthew says that despite this, he can’t judge Jin, since he doesn’t know what happened. Jin, hearing those words coming from the person who matters the most, who he really did not want to hear from, triggers him into seeing Matthew sarcastically smiling/mocking him.
Then chapter 66.5, the second part, he starts obviously beating up Matthew. Honestly the raws don’t make sense what Jin said in this chapter. I think it was something about Matthew’s eyes seeing this world in an innocent view and that he has never felt something terrible before, saying his eyes make him recall and pin him in the past, which he really wants to forget, because he is scared he is becoming like the priest. He says that unlike Matthew, he can only destroy what he has. He keeps beating him up because he’s both scared and traumatized, and Matthew being all knocked up and hurt gives him flashbacks to when he is a kid, making him cry … He’s leaving Matthew to return back to Shinhai and Matthew regains consciousness quickly goes after Jin begging him not to leave. The direct raws at the end translations correctly to: “Are you a person who doesn’t care if they get hurt or die? Why do you have to? Don’t leave and abandon me, Jin.” Which Jin replies: “Now, I don’t care about such a thing.”
My interpretation of this is that Jin needs help as soon as possible, and likely if he opens up to Matthew they can have a good and sweet relationship. His trauma and past DOES NOT justify beating up Matthew, that was literally horrible of him to do. Though, this was kinda a needed chapter. I just didn’t expect Jin to beat him up, I hope Matthew lets him actually leave this time and we get to see a chasing arc…

I wont take anyones side. jin is suffering and both trying to protect each other but lacks communication, hope the misunderstanding gets cleared and we get happy times after this.
