    One thing that became clear to me with this story is that, it’s not a BL at all. It’s a “folk horror”, and one of the BEST I’ve read. I’ve read the story on LezhinKo since it started, and the tags themselves say so. A story marked with tags like “suspense”, ‘mystery’, “supernatural entity”, “strategist/manipulator bottom” and “protector/devotee top”. And the tags say so. Obviously it has the BL tags because of the main couple, but really if they knew the tags from the beginning, it makes perfect sense that it ended up that way. Now, it makes sense that Todd would be a Trickster. A mythological character known in Native American cultures. However, from the name of the story, it makes the religious/Christian meaning clear. In cultures where there is Judeo-Christian religion, it is common for mythological beings from indigenous cultures to be perceived as demons.
    The image of the trickster is complicated, since it is not always good, but it is not always negative either. The trickster is, in general, a chaotic being who acts in amoral ways. And in fact, one of the best known in California is the Coyote Trickster. And that’s Todd. A person who can take the form of a Coyote. So…I’m surprised many readers don’t get the story. It’s definitely not a conventional BL, nor is it romantic….

    Dennis was so gullible. and Todd was a manipulative bitch he knew it was Dennis’ first time loving someone and he took that for granted. I miss Dennis my fine shit💔 hope in the future the author uploads a new WHOLESOME BL

    I believe that todd was very much real, even the animals reacted to him and they clearly showed signs of fear whenever they saw Todd. now I’m not sure if he took in the form of a wolf but it’s more likely that he did.
    My other theory is that Todd was a representation of Hell, the intrusive thoughts that people who struggle with mental illness have, taking the form of a wolf/human and devouring the souls, which the man knew and warned Dennis not to trust anyone on the job because he knew that there was a dark entity making people/animals go crazy which we can see at the end, the voice coming from the dark cliff. This represents the Devil very well, the deceiver of the human mind-leading to their corruption.
    Which is what Todd did to Dennis. he led that man to his grave by mentally torturning him.

      sex sahnelerinde de surekli araya kuzunun(?) vurulma sahnesi girip durdu, bir de ukenin gozlerinin bu kadar keskin bir renkte olmasinin rengi belki de gercekten sondaki atin o oldugundan dolayidir
