And fyi taeui didn’t want ilay to get killed he knew that xinlu can’t kill ilay (spoiler) he knew that the ling cant mess with TR and he thought since xinlu and ilay slept tg xinlu wouldn’t kill him so basically even all that if taeui knew that xinlu would actually have the guts to kill ilay he would have not tag him along
