I think in Yoobin’s love story is that her mother unexpectedly will act like her grandmother, yes her mother loves her but knowing that Yoobin’s lover will turn out to his ex husband’s daughter will make it even more complicated for her mother but eventually came to accept them and move on cuz in love is an illusion side story, they are not yet done with their own conflict like Hyesung’s mother, he still has that lingering resentment against her who abandoned him and how she turn the blame on him saying why he didn’t try to find her knowing that her husband literally poisoned Hyesung’s mind into thinking that he became unwanted and would ruin her new family if he tried
