Josh was walking on a dirt road with a serious face. Staff passing by occasionally greeted him, but he didn’t notice it. He fell in thought and had no time to properly look around. 

After receiving a phone call from Laura, Josh left the quarters. It’s been a topic he has been thinking about what to do since he heard about it from Mark, but Chase seemed to have heard of it as well.

Chase was unresponsive. Her face distorted in response to his reaction, and she suddenly opened her eyes.

While groaning in pain, Henry pointed out, outrageous, but neither Chase nor Becky listened to him. 

Chase, who had been silent until then, leaning against the panel, looked down at the floor. There was the gun that Becky had dropped. Becky sobbed as he bent down and picked it up. 

“Is that so, can I die?”

Suddenly he pointed his muzzle at his head. As amazed Becky opened her eyes wide, Chase still spoke indifferently. 

“It’s simple. Can I just blow this up, right?”

“Chase, I sincerely said that.” 

“What are you doing now?”

Suddenly, Chase and Becky looked at the entrance at the same time as a voice interrupted. Beyond the open trailer door, Pale-faced Josh stood breathlessly. 

“What the hell…”

His gaze went to Henry and the woman lying on the floor, and then to Chase, and finally, to the pistol in his hand. 

“What are you doing now?”

He looked stupid as if shocked. Becky looked terrified and alternated between Chase and Josh. Josh couldn’t figure out what was going on right now. Why was Henry shot? What’s happening? 

But why is Chase aiming his head with a gun? There was nothing he could know. The only thing that was certain was that he had to stop him. 

“Keep calm, Chase. I don’t know what’s going on, but let’s talk about it.”

Josh talked to Chase, step by step. Even right now, Chase seemed to be pulling the trigger. His spine became creepy, and cold sweats ran out of his temple.

Josh step by step slowly approached Chase. In the tense silence, only the sound of his breath seemed to hit his ears loudly. 

Chase was still looking at him with an expressionless face, but his hand with the gun was completely unshakable. Josh opened his mouth without taking his eyes off his hand with the gun. 

“It’s okay, Chase. Put that gun down first. Let’s talk after that… Do you like bubble baths? I’ll give you a lot of detergent. Yes, I’d like to do a massage with you. Do you want to eat? Donuts or cookies? Tell me, I’ll make anything…..”

Josh was desperate. He had to somehow convince him. Now just a few more steps. Josh hastily checked the distance between himself and Chase.

He’s almost there, Chase. Wait a little more. 

He reached out with earnest aspirations, but the only thing that came back was Chase’s cool laughter.

And he pulled the trigger. Becky screams, and loud gunfire resounds in the trailer.

The nasty smell of gunpowder rubbed his nose. Chase, who closed his eyes for a moment, slowly raised his eyelids. The world hasn’t changed at all. Becky, who was crying, remained the same, and Henry, who was bleeding, was still there.

Only Josh, who looks at him and breathes with a white face, was different from the previous one. He was standing too close.

Josh swears and throws the stolen gun. It was the gun that Chase had just tried to shoot in his head.

As if angry, Josh grabbed Chase’s face. Chase was just dragged away without hesitation, and his glaring gaze at it was as if he would hit him right away.

If I die like that, it’s not bad either. 

It was when Chase thought it unintentionally. Josh raised his fist and stopped. He bit his lips and wondered if he was shaking, so he brought his hand. He thought it would be right, but he touched Chase so sweetly.

Josh’s eyes got wet because he was upset. Chase blinked his eyes as if surprised. For a while, the two didn’t say anything. He just silently listened to each other’s breaths. 

Suddenly, there was an urgent footstep outside, so Isaac jumped in. 

“What’s going on? Mr. Miller, you’re okay…”

He shouted and stopped at the sight in the trailer. 

“What is all this?”

Soon he found Becky’s figure and stopped. It was the woman he met while on patrol. She was an actor he saw often, so he didn’t care much about her, so he passed it over. What is this?

However, there was no time to be in confusion. 

“Henry! God, what’s wrong with this!”

Then Isaac screamed and rushed to Henry. Henry, who seemed half-conscious, opened his mouth. He wondered to whisper something, and Isaac looked down at him in embarrassment.

“Why is that? You think you’re going to die?”

At Seth’s question, the kid wasn’t small, and he blinked his eyes and opened his mouth after exhaling a gigantic sigh. 

“Call me an ambulance.”

“With the police.”

At Josh’s voice, Isaac and Seth looked at him at the same time. Josh, calming down, wrapped the gun thrown on the floor with a handkerchief and handed it over to Seth. 

“For more information, ask the police to investigate ….C tells me that I will respond to the reference person’s investigation at that time when it becomes stable.”

Said Seth, who glanced at him.

“Is C okay?”

“He’s just rubbed. I’ll tell the medical staff to treat him.”

Following Josh’s answer, Isaac was spoken.

Immediately Josh called Mark and Laura. After explaining the situation, receiving instructions on what to do next, and getting in touch with a doctor who resides on the set, Josh hung up the phone. As he sighed and turned his head, Chase hesitated to sit on the floor with his head bent. After looking at him for a while, Josh took a step closer. 

He must have heard footsteps, but he did not respond. Josh finally walked right in front of him and stopped looking down at him. 

“Chase.”

Josh, kneeling on one knee and leaned in front of him, opened his mouth. 

“Why did you do that?”

“Why did you try to kill yourself again?”

Josh once again asked Chase, who had nothing to say. He could wait as much as he could to hear the answer. It didn’t take much longer than he thought, so Chase opened his mouth.

“If I die, will you cry?”

In a low voice, Josh replied. 

“Yes.”

He whispered.

Again Chase was silent. Suddenly, Josh felt strange. He quietly looked down and checked his face, and he stopped. Chase was crying.

Josh pulled out a handkerchief and stopped trying to wipe his face, checking the empty pockets. He looked back in embarrassment and then turned his gaze back to Chase, exhaling a deep sigh without knowing it. 

Chase neither made a cry nor felt it. It was just that tears that had accumulated on his cheeks flowed down his cheeks. The dark purple eyes were full of tears and became cloudy, and then became clear.

Tears, flowing down his cheeks, formed on his chin, hesitated for a moment, and then fell to the floor. On top of the falling tears, new tears were added again. Chase’s face was just crying without even making a sound, and Josh couldn’t speak because his heart was jammed. 

“Chase.”

When he barely called him again, Chase slowly raised his head. He thought he finally met his eyes, but Chase’s eyes soon became distracted with tears that filled again. 

Ha, Chase took a trembling breath for the first time. He tilted his head and kissed Josh’s lips. When Josh opened his closed eyes, he felt the saltiness in his mouth, and Chase’s face was right in front of him.

Chase vomited a word, then bit his lower lip. Josh just looked at him, taking a rough breath and suppressing sobbing. Ha-ah, Chase exhaled again and opened his mouth.

Chase sighed briefly, stunned. When Josh laughed, a sound was heard from outside and the doctor and Laura hurried into the trailer.

Josh came out during the treatment, pulled out a cigarette in his mouth.
