Dan’s suffering: got raped and beaten up, got humiliated, got drugged, has to work up a lot thanks to being poor, his grandma is the only thing he has left and she’s about die, lost his dog, and other worse things.
And Mingwa says she really loves when the top “suffers” bruhh make him suffer worse
It’s not a dream. He’s not hallucinating, he must have had these thoughts from before. If his grandma is no more, he’ll be left all alone. He’s scared of it. So it triggers everything he has faced. Poor baby 😭 .
Thank fully Jaekyung came. Because village n town sides tend to be so silent at night time unlike city side. So yeah, Jaekyung found him through the SNS post. He better treat him well now 😭
This made me cry 😭 poor dan I think he is drunk and lost his conscious from lack of sleep. He’s so tired he unconsciously wanted to end it all. The dog dying definitely triggered him but I feel he had these thoughts all along before he even came to the countryside because of the harsh life he’s lived
I feel like he is more like sleep walking ? It is not straigh up hallucination because he is not full conscious, he is dreaming while his body is walking right to his death without even realising it. He will likely not even understand he tried to end himself when he wakes up.
Poor baby reached rock bottom at light speed, completely sleepdeprived, drunk and alone so the result is a depressed self-destructive man that needs help to see even a sip of value in himself. Lets be real, there is no story if JK is not here to pick up every pieces of our baby and help him recover from now on, while fucking up once or twice (probably a lot more, it is JK after all) along the way. At last he made it on time.

Honestly, I have some theories about the last scene. On my opinion, that is the real Joo, bc of his look. If it was a Dan’s dream, Joo wouldn’t have dark circles and the shoulder brace. Also, JK maybe was able to know where Dan was thanks to the photos that the hospital and the Heesung’s crew took before (that photo was taken in front of the hospital, and probably someone there posted them online). Another theories could be that Dan is driming all the thing or maybe that he is having a hallucination. In the second case maybe is someone else who in rescuing him, like the grampa that lives with him. I hardly doubt that he’s hallucinating in such a dangerous way without anyone around (even because if it was so his chances to survive would be very small).
