I mean, I don’t agree with the ultimatum, because nobody should come out forcefully, but at least have the decency to talk about it and not run away like a coward. I think ending things right now is the best for both of them, they are in different stages in the relationship, so they need to fix the own personal problems before take the relationship to the next level and a time out is necessary for that.
