The story is good and the overall characters are trash except for the ones who got abused(they have a reason for their actions) I’ve seen a spoiler that the horse guy will end up with our mc, and that made me think that the author just made the story more worse, like, ok what if he’s been forced or he has a really tragic backstory and that made him do what he did in the present time, but what’s that got to do on innocent ppl, like why would you even wanna involve some stranger in your “problems” that cannot be solve by you whatsoever.

It could’ve been better if he didn’t end up with the horse and get someone better to side with him and protect him.
